Doug Reside is not really an archivist, but sometimes justifies his pack rat tendencies by saying that he is. He spends most of his time reading musical theater scripts and playing with Commodore 64s and the rest trying to convince world governments to give him money to do more of the same (occasionally successfully). He has been known to carry business cards that say he is an associate director at the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities (MITH) at the University of Maryland to generate an illusion of respectability.
